Beetroot Breakfast Recipe
- 200 grams beetroot
- 100 gram fresh cream
- 100 gram cottage cheese
- 2 large garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon grounded nutmeg
- Salt to taste
- Lettuce leaves
- Slice of bread
Procedure of Preparation
- Boil the beetroot until it is uniformly soft and you can put a fork through it.
- Once the beetroot is boiled and cooled, the skin comes off easily.
- Coarsely grate the beetroot and cottage cheese and mix together.
- Add to the mix finely grated garlic, ground pepper and nutmeg.
- Add salt.
- Whip in an healthy amount of fresh cream.
- Serve the salad as dressing on crisp lettuce leaves to a slice of mildly toasted bread.
