 Mixed Fruit Green Tea Smoothie

Ingredients Required

1 apple, peeled, cored and coarsely chopped into small pieces.

1 pear, peeled, cored and coarsely chopped..

1 banana peeled and sliced

1&1/2 cup iced green tea brew crushed in grinder

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional, highly recommended)

 Procedure of Preparation

  • Prepare the green tea by adding 1 teaspoon of tea leaves to 2 cups of hot water. Let the tea leaves rest for 10 minutes. Filter the tea and let it cool down. Transfer it into an ice-tray and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Ground the ice cubes and keep aside before preparation.
  • Keep the fruits ready - washed, peeled, cored and chopped.
  • Add the fruits and the green tea ice in a blender. Run thoroughly until the contents of the blender acquires a stable and smooth consistency.
  • You may add a pinch of fine ground nutmeg, blend some more and serve topped with fresh cream. Show off your culinary skills by notching up the presentation and taste of your drink.
